I just started Wintergirls and am enjoying it so far. (I read Prom first because I heard it was lighter, but it convinced me that Anderson could handle serious topics.)

I think the reason Dragonhaven bothered me so much was that the premise interested me a great deal, and then the voice—inauthentic and obnoxious both—killed it for me.
