The cats are doing well. Still sniffly -- I can hear Alys snoring now -- but no longer with any of the scarier symptoms.

I knew they were getting better when Cordy started really struggling when I give her the antibiotics. (Not that I can blame her: I wouldn't like it if someone wrapped me in a blanket, pried my mouth open and squirted meds at me either.) So that's heartening. Unfortunately, she definitely Does Not Like It, and we need to keep giving them to her until Saturday night at the earliest.

But they've enough energy now to play, like I expect from kittens -- and I've never had more than one kitten at once, so I'm totally charmed by the way they chase each other around. (Alys likes to try to pounce on Cordelia, but unfortunately the living room is fairly slick hardwood. So she'll do the stalking buttwiggle, but when she actually goes to pounce her paws slide out from under her and she skids across the floor and crashes into Cordy. And then grooms frantically, in an I-meant-to-do-that kind of way.) And then they fall asleep, with Alys's head on Cordy's back, or the other way around.

(I need an icon of them.)

EDIT: And they both want to sit on my keyboard.
