Snow and snow and more snow, in great big fat flakes.

I find that I kind of like it... now that I am in a situation where I never have to walk in it, drive in it, or shovel it. It's beautiful out the window, thick and white. (Although I do very much hope that there's a break in it, so that going to the airport/flying on Tuesday isn't affected....)

The snow is now to nearly 4 inches deep on the balcony railing; I measured. (I understand it's deeper in Bellevue, and quite a lot deeper in Olympia.) Compared to snowfalls in Idaho, of course, that's nothing; after six years in LA, it's pretty impressive.

I have a very love/hate relationship with snow. It's gorgeous... and I hate going out in it. Fortunately, right now, I don't need to.

Also, rest in peace Majel Barret Roddenberry, who died today due to complications from leukemia.

I didn't watch much of the Original Series, so the roles I saw her in were Lwaxana Troi in TNG (a very funny role, in my opinion), and Lady Morella in Babylon 5 (which I found quite charming -- she made a great Centauri seeress). But of course, mostly I heard her, because she was the voice of the Enterprise for 30 years.
