(This is not going to keep me from getting more laptops, which perhaps means that I'm a premeditated laptop serial killer. But seriously, I go through laptops about twice as fast as the boy does, and this is the second time in five years that I've had a motherboard crap out on me.)
Long story short, my laptop started acting funny, we called Dell, it's still under warranty (by one day, my timing is awesome), we're sending it back for a new motherboard. This means that, until it gets fixed, I'm vagabond-ing between my creaky old laptop (good reasons to buy a new laptop before your old one completely gives up the ghost: you still have it as a backup option!) and the desktop in the office.
This probably means that I will be less online than usual. Have no fear! I am alive! And hopefully with a new motherboard in place my laptop will be alive, too....
