Today I attempted to make flatbread with toppings for dinner.

Unfortunately, the flatbread failed to rise, which made it... veryflatbread. I think possibly I put too much salt in the dough (which can retard yeast growth), or else possibly the yeast is dead. Leaning toward the former since the result is notably, well, salty.

Still edible, but more like an enormous (and fairly, but not inedibly, salty) cracker with an olive oil glaze and tomatoes, parsley, rosemary, and cracked pepper on top.

Ah, well!
