We got our cats collars and tags for the first time since they were tiny kittens (and they had collars and tags from the shelter, which they broke off with surprising speed).

They are FREAKING OUT. Alys keeps trying to chase the tag around her neck.

I'd feel bad about this, except it's hilarious and adorable. :D :D :D

EDIT: Alys's is still on, partly I think because she has the attention span of a butterfly and shortly forgot she'd ever not had it. But Cordelia has already figured out how to shed hers. Heh. I think it was a bit loose, but still -- that was fast!

I remember when I first put collars on my cats - they were SO MAD!!! Their collars have bells on them, cause they are good at being underfoot and I kept stepping on then... :o)

I had to go through a couple of collars each on mine before I found some they couldn't get out of easily. And my big boy still sometimes turns up naked once in awhile and I find his collar under the sofa or something.
