Yeah, exactly. And aside from the anger I felt at her cruel, unnecessarily misogynistic comments, I had to laugh at the profound lack of self-awareness it showed. After spending chapter after chapter snidely mocking the other women on grounds of appearance and datability (and from context, she was not keeping those observations to herself), not even on skill or personality, it was the height of hypocrisy and lack of perspective to whine that the others were backstabbing bitches for leaving her out of a party!
I always want to say: if you (hypothetical you) can't get along with any other women, Occam's Razor suggests that the problem is not every other woman in the world.
