Today: bread and cheese, fennel and apple salad, carnival squash soup
Monday: pasta e fagioli with fresh cannellini beans
Tuesday: salad of arugula, tomatoes, fresh croutons, and tuna
Wednesday: baked acorn squash, grilled cheese sandwiches
Thursday: steak, mashed purple viking potatoes, garlic green beans
Friday: breakfast for dinner
Saturday: fajitas

Oy, that sounds good!

I think we're having a different version of rice, sauteed peppers, and chicken all through this week. (My husband is currently reading to me a vision that some guy in the middle ages had of sailing a coracle made of fat across a lake of spicy broth toward palisades of bacon. There's a bridge made of butter in there somewhere, too, as well as columns made of pork.)(So gross!)(Except for the bacon)
