Oh, I am glad of being home where I can cook again.

Today was easy, as things are when you are lucky enough to have a few excellent ingredients: Alaska smoked salmon, soft herb-and-garlic goat cheese, fresh watercress. Everything chopped coarsely and tossed with hot pasta, and let to sit a few minutes until the cheese melted and made a sauce.

Yum.

Mmmmm. And if you replace the pasta with romaine lettuce and add some croutons, you have a delicious salad!
