2 miles today; 3 miles total. Cross The Water on a plank bridge.

Steampunk progress:
* Made the leather pouch
* Painted two of the gears Marcy gave me bronze, for sewing onto the pouch
* Finished the gear necklace, using
botmo lampwork beads that arrived today. (OMG, such pretty beads!)
* Planned out the hair ornament. (Spiky titanium gear behind my ear, with bead hanging down from the holes. Just need to figure out how to get it to stay up...)
* Formulated plan of attack for the parasol. (Big spiky gear on top. Boo yah.)
* Decided to go ahead and wear the Cleavage Corset, as a) I like the way it looks, and b) Lady Cordelia is a woman of Scandal as well as Science. I may change my mind if I put it on and am at risk of falling out of it, though.
I still need to:
* Get started on Pav's hat (and, ideally, find a feather for it, because that would be awesome, especially if I paint it gold, like the feather of a clockwork nightengale).
* Figure out whether I'm going to bother with a walking stick
* Affix the painted gears to the pouch
* Re-cloth the parasol and hook the big spiky gear to it
* Make the hair ornament
* Contemplate whether I can do a wrist bracer intended to hold my Victorian mechanical pencil (thank you,
ceph!)
I also need a better organizational system for my beads.
(The BPAL scents Kataniya the Clockwork Woman and Mechanical Phoenix are excellent for steampunk inspiration.)

Continuing my theme begun at New Year's of drinks that taste like candy bars, today I made an Almond Joy. 1 part Amaretto, 2 parts chocolate liquer (Cask and Cream Chocolate, in this case), 2 parts coconut rum, plus milk/cream/half-and-half to taste. Tasty!

Also, MMP was awesome. More on that later.
All in all, not a bad day, even with the Evil Head Cold of Ultimate Peril.
