Google Chrome looks really interesting. Assuming the description/explanation is correct, it has some major performance advantages, and some truly nifty unique features.

The problem? I have a lot of Firefox extensions. More importantly, there are a lot of Firefox extensions that I use and rely on daily. It's entirely possible that Chrome will have some type of add-on capability, now or eventually, but even if so, all my shiny extensions won't be there out of the box.

I'll probably download Chrome and play with it, and I guess we'll see whether its advantages are worth giving up my nifty extensions.

I use TabMix Plus in Firefox, and haven't noticed the absence in Chrome. Then again, saving tabs between sessions and reorganizing tabs (and the individual close boxes) are all I really use it for, and Chrome can do all of those. Your mileage may vary.

Right now, the weight of the decision is in whether the performance enhancements to Chrome are worth giving up the fact that I can (and, more importantly, have) customized Firefox to within an inch of its life to suit me specifically. It's possible they will -- I'm not fond of the memory-hogging FF does -- but we'll see.
