I remember having a ridiculous love for the TV series and games when I was...13? 14? The one that had the two teen detectives who were chasing her. I remember at the time having an absurd investment in learning if she was their mother. (Though now I wonder if it was a throwaway line or episode that my youthful mind clung to as it developed a kink for separated families finding each other/ending up on opposite sides, or it it was actually an important part of the show. Like, it was PROBABLY some line about the kids' parents and a comment from Carmen that my younger mind blew out of proportion, but...)

I also remember being totally floored when I learned she was supposed to be white, because between black hair (I only played the games after the series started) + slightly darker skin + name + nonwhite voice actress, I assumed she was hispanic.

Damn it! I remember the tune (which is stuck in my head now! =) and i remember the structure of the lyrics, but i can't remember any of the particular alliteration/puns they actually used :(

That's the line I was going to say too ;) Although I have no idea why I know the tune of that line (I don't remember anything else about the song) because I don't recall ever watching the show. I only ever played the computer game and I don't think there was any song to it.
