Though we named our cats Alys and Cordelia, many a day I think they would have been more aptly named Miles and Mark. (Despite the gender mismatch.)

Or perhaps 'Alys and Alys's Sister'. Then we could call cordi 'sis'. Granted, that doesn't really touch on the personality aspect you so aptly get across ;->
