Getting a hotel room by oneself, which means getting the whole bed to spread out on, and taking over all the outlets, and being able to wander around the room at five pm in one's underwear with impunity.

Ohhhh yes. And the delight of fresh, crisp, newly-washed sheets without having to have spent the day on laundry to get there!
