For those of you (like me) who have been eagerly awaiting a Windows edition of Scrivener (a piece of writing software, very well-spoken-of, previously available only on Mac): there's now a beta version out! I installed it and have been playing with it. It's shiiiiiiiiny. I have to say, it blows poor Liquid Story Binder out of the water.

The freely-downloadable beta versions will stop working when the full version is available for sale, but there's also a deal where it's going to be half off for people who 'win' NaNoWriMo.

Sweet! I started using Scrivener a little before last year's NaNoWriMo, and it is AWESOME. I love how I can write in whatever funky fonts I want and still convert to standard manuscript format in an instant. (Now if they would only support regular expressions...)
