Oct. 29th, 2007 02:55 pmThis is my parents, in a nutshell:
They sent me a package today. It contained the usual compliment of mail (a lot of my university mail still goes there, because I changed address so often right after college), plus:
* a book on organizing my home (with the helpful note "I thought this would be interesting, but it's not a commentary on your housekeeping!")
* a bar of Belgian milk chocolate
* some fancy black tea
* rose-scented bath things
* an article on bronze-age Irish metalworking
* coupons for snack foods, helpfully clipped by my mother
* a flannel nightgown ("because you're in Seattle now and it gets cool in the winter")
I do love my family. ♥
