coraaTonight I get to go home. It will be the first time I've been back in my house for sixteen days. This Saturday will -- barring disaster -- mark the first time I've been in my house for more than four consecutive days since December 18.
I am bloody tired, is what I am. Sick of beds that aren't mine, sick of eating out, sick unto death of people. I'm taking two days off work to sleep in, grocery shop, and try not to catch anything. I'm probably going to go turtlelike and not see anyone for a few weeks, either -- don't take it personally.
As a reward for dealing with all this, I'm buying myself a few books I've been wanting. I've also had an inexplicable urge to rewatch Sans Soleil, a beautiful and odd documentaryish thing I fell in love with in college, so I might buy that. (La Jetee is pretty good, too, though it gave me nightmares. In a good way! But still, nightmares.)
And sleep and read and sleep and read and sleep and sleep and sleep.
