Apr. 5th, 2008 02:15 pmBored Saturday question:
What's your favorite movie soundtrack? (I'm talking the score, the instrumental background-musicky soundtrack, not a soundtrack with singing like for a Disney movie or a musical.) It's okay if it's for a movie that's not one of your favorites; mine is. I think the end theme to A Series of Unfortunate Events may be the best part of the movie.
So what scores do you like?

Date: 2008-04-06 12:18 am (UTC)I really liked the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon soundtrack, but I do think Memoirs of a Geisha was a bit...deeper.
Catch Me if You Can...I don't like Jazz, but I did like the soundtrack (minus the Sinatra).
Silk Road is a soundtrack to a documentary...which I never saw...but I think it's my favorite "score," though I don't think that's exactly what you mean. *cough*
I'd probably just say Memoirs, unless I really thought about it for more time than I care to, now. Any soundtrack that gets Ma and Perlman, both, is worth listening to.
