Today for dinner I had a wonderfully light, filling, comforting meal of congee, seasoned with sesame oil and soy sauce, and topped with an over-easy fried egg. Yum. I only wish I had green onions to top it with.

Tomorrow's dinner is going to be something heartier and meatier, though, I think. But I'm not sure what. So I'll open the poll early. ;)

(This month's Washoku challenge is a bevy of miso dishes, but I can't make those until I've had a trip to Uwajimaya. Looking forward to it, thought!)

That is exactly where I got the idea from. :D I bought some mushrooms especially for that, so I'll definitely be doing it this week sometime, before they go bad.

I'll let you know how they come out!
